YRSB19   Call for Papers

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the third iiSBE Forum of Young Researchers in Sustainable Building 2019, which will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, 1st July 2019 just opened a call for papers.

The event will be focused on actual PhD research in the field of sustainable building. The mission of the conference is to bring young doctoral researchers in sustainable building together to share research outcomes, discuss and get feedback from their colleagues, along with their participation in the peer-review process of the conference.

The previous YRSB conferences were held in 2013 and 2016 also in Prague and had a large success among doctoral students. Last time, 38 active PhD participants from 17 countries have enjoyed the event including all the social parts.

The YRSB topics are:

Buildings and climate change
Innovative materials, products and systems for energy efficient and energy positive buildings
Decision-support tools and assessment methods for sustainable built environment
Sustainable retrofitting of existing buildings
Sustainable urban development
We would like to invite you to prepare an Abstract of up to 150 words, and submit it via CESB19&YRSB19 conference administration system (www.conftool.com/cesb19) until 1st July 2018.

Information about the acceptance of abstracts and about the preparation of final papers will be given by 15th September 2018. Deadline for the full paper submission will be 15th December 2018. All full papers accepted by the Scientific Committee and presented at the Forum will be published in the electronic proceedings.

Before final acceptance for presentation at the Forum and for publication in the proceedings, all submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. As always, the peer-review will be done by the YRSB19 authors. Each author will get one full paper within the same topic group and will prepare the review. This will bring the young researchers another important experience. Submissions will be divided into oral and poster presentations.

During three days following the YRSB19 Forum (2nd–4th July 2019), the Central Europe towards Sustainable Building 2019 conference will take place at the same location. The YRSB19 Forum active participants will be allowed to visit the CESB19 conference for a special registration fee, including the coffee breaks and lunches, with the possibility to participate at social events, technical tours and satellite events.
